He did a trigger job on my M&P 9c and it's MUCH improved! I have about a 4 pound pull with a greatly reduced reset and overtravel.
Thanks Bashful. I have been to his site and may be interested at some point. I want to see how the stock setup smooths out first.

It will smooth out quite nicely. Even a Burwell trigger will smooth out.

As promised, my short Range Report on my new S & W Military & Police 9mm.....

As I stated earlier...this gun feels really good in the hand. I will experiment with some well placed grip tape in the future. Here's the setup for today:
Stock M & P, cleaned and lubricated according to documentation that came with the pistol.
Small palmswell installed (this pistol comes with 3 different palmswells for the back of the grip, in small, medium and large).
100 rounds of 115gr WWB ammunition

This pistol performed flawlessly! Both 17 round magazines fit and functioned perfect from the first round to the last. For a polymer-framed pistol, it feels really solid. The slide, when realsed, strips a round from the magazine and moves forward into battery with authority.

I found the trigger to be smooth and relatively light for a DAO pistol. I have but one problem with the trigger...I couldn't feel the reset very well, and that may be due to the hinged trigger.

Felt recoil was surprisingly light and was easily controlled; I was able to get my second sight picture quickly.

Here is a pic of a standard 9 inch paper plate, which I engaged from 7 yards with 10 shots from a single magazine, standing, two hand. The gun is more accurate than I am:

The first 5 shots in the string are represented by the top group, and the second 5 by the bottom group.

A total of 100 rounds was fired today. I will be shooting this in a class tomorrow with the large palmswell installed to see how that feels. All in all, I LOVE this gun!!

Cheers!
