Sorry IANAL, I did not see your post when I last posted. My point was that I know of no activity under 46.15 (4) where it is common to use a bayonet. So it is apparent to me this is not an exception to 46.02.seamusTX wrote:To violate PC §46.02, you have to carry an illegal knife "on or about your person." This situation would be the same a buying a long kitchen knife (or handgun, for that matter) and bringing it home from the store.
I wouldn't want to try bringing it to a gravel pit or whatever informal shooting venue you may use.
