Thanks for the heads up. First the confusion about carrying guns on tribal lands, now no alcohol. No fun.
I called Choctaw and they confirmed they have not yet received their liquor license. So I think we are going to pass on this trip.

kgdotcom wrote:I just called and asked Security and was told "That if I was a CHL I could keep it locked in the car”. He also made it sound like it the hotel might be ok, as he said "it’s not allowed in the Casino gaming area."

I even let him know I was told that it wasn't allowed on tribal land period and he asked for confirmation and he again said "if I have a CHL it is ok to be locked in the car on thier property".
Was that Choctaw casino security?
If so, I'm not sure what to make of that. The tribal police said no guns. I think they would trump casino security, but who knows. I think I'll just stay in Texas. :txflag:

Good point... if the Indian cops believe it is illegal to have any gun, I think one might find themselves in a pickle. Best policy may be to not tell them your armed if pulled over for speeding. The 5th amendment would be appropriate in this situation... .

Sounds like no one knows for sure and calling and asking and getting different answers about whether we can carry in Oklahoma casinos vary. To make sure, does ANYONE know if there are any WRITTEN statutes that state you cannot or can under certain circumstances carry in an Indian Casino within Oklahoma. I called and asked security in WinStar and he said you can if you have CHL in Texas, but then someone else called and he said NO. Surely there is a written statute or how else can they enforece it?
