I haven't decided yet. I already have a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster which I used for the 642 and which fits the 640, but the 640 is just a tad heavy for pocket carry... ...at least
front pocket carry.
Holsters I have looked at include the
Galco Combat Master Belt Holster and the
Galco SOB. But I've just started my search, so I'm nowhere near decided yet.
I am open to suggestions.

Those look like good options. I've never carried a revolver other than my little NAA .22 Mag, so that's why I'm curious what you plan on using.

I always carried the 640 on my ankle. It's not ideal for a primary option, but it's better than not carrying or having it in a backpack. It's great for a BUG.
Revolvers ride very nicely on the ankle. . . not having the magazine makes a difference and helps them to feel more snug and secure than a semi-auto. I imagine you could easily wear the 640 IWB or OWB without knowing its there.

You remind me that I actually have an ankle holster for it... I'm assuming that the one I have for the 642 will fit the 640. I better go check....
