The Annoyed Man wrote:What's worse about California, is that a permit issued by the sheriff of county A does not have to be recognized by the sheriff of county B. Back in the '80s and early '90s, there was a sheriff of an inland, mid-state rural county who was fairly easy going about whom he issued permits to, and it kind of got to be public knowledge in the RKBA crowd. Pretty soon, sheriffs in other counties were publicly announcing that they would not recognize permits issued by other counties.
Local government at its worst.
