Seems backwards to think like that. My response would be "If I were the kind to go for my gun in the presence of an officer, that'd make me not the kind of person that would or could get a CHL." Or something that sounded better in my head . . .

Agreed. Why bother to get a CHL if you plan on pulling a weapon on an LEO?

Well, DUH, then they can only charge you with capital murder. If you don't have a CHL, they can also get you on unlawful possession of a weapon. :smilelol5:
