what else do you call those little green chunks of cryptonite?)
Tritium lamps pressing against a strand of fiber-optic.
The lamp itself is a tiny glass tube coated on the inside with phosphor, then filled with tritium gas and sealed by laser - the tritium excites the phosphor and makes it glow, much like a cathode-ray tube TV set. Those glass tubes are usually sealed into a little aluminum tube with silicon for shock-absorption and then topped with a sapphire lens - the whole thing is the lamp
I saw a patent last week for Wilson Combat - they must be coming out with their own version of a fiberoptic-and-tritium sight sometime.
So do you prefer to be called a "nerd" or a "geek"?

... but seriously, thanks for the explanations fellas .... think I might just try those. I saw some for about $80 online somewhere (around there they're $100+ at gun shops).
Easy to self-install, or do you need sight pusher and special sight wrench etc?

The Glock factory sights are just too wide. I have the best luck with Heine, Sevigny, or Warren tactical.

It must be nice to have young/good eyesight. I need the wide sights (big sights are a accurate). Helps to dispell all the fuzziness.

Their customer service has an atrocious record with hobbyists and BTDTs alike.
OK... here they are at about the same price as Botach (free shipping).

Never dealt with these guys before, though.

I have dealt with Impactguns and have mixed feelings about it. I have gotten things from them on time sometimes and other times they took forever. Customer service is great though because they always answer their emails under 3-4 hours.
