I checked out the Cabela's website and they have it for $299. Does anyone know what BassPro has it for? This might be a nice little gun for a backup or when my little G27 is even a bit hard to conceal.

The LCP was going for $329 at Bass Pro.

Well, since I have already hi-jacked my own thread lets go on another tangent.

My wife and I went to Winchester Gallery Range tonight. She rented a couple of Glock pistols and also tried my XD40SC. She shot 50 rounds from each of the guns.

She tried the G26 first, and I think she was suprised at the accuracy. It has more recoil than her Kahr P9, but it was comfortable to shoot eventhough she has small hands and it is as double stack mag.

She tried my XD and again was impressed with the accuracy. She commented about how much less recoil it had as compared to my previous .40 cal a Taurus PT140.

Lastly she shot a G36 which is a single stack .45 acp. She very impressed with what seemed to be the lack of recoil for such a large round. She was using their ammo and was shooting 230 gr ball FMJ. Again the acuracy was there. She also feels more confindent in her ability to shoot the larger caliber weapons in a double stack configuration.

I think she liked the G36 best. Tomorrow we are going to Texas CQB Range here in Burleson and try out the G27 and maybe a G23. I know they have both of these there.

If she can shoot the G36 with no problems, then she is SOME kind of woman!

I love my G26(9mm), it goes everywhere I go, but the G36 is just too much gun with too little grip for me.

Well it kicks worse than my G30 but what we did was to put a rubber grip cover on it to take some of the 'sharpness' off it. That was a vast improvement.

If you are in the Houston area we could maybe meet up and you could try it out if you like.

Sorry, but I'm up near Dallas. I think I might check out the Bullet Trap and see if they have one of these or the kel-tech I can try out.

Humm I have a couple of the LCP's and I don't think the "kick" is all that bad. I, Like Kevin, put some Hogue rubber grips on mine to soften the blow. I had a Kel-Tec P-11 for a couple of minutes. Now that is a real " kicker". The LCP isn't all the much fun to shoot but sure is easy to conceal. I basically live in shorts and tank tops all summer and no one knows I have it IWB.
