Thank you guys. Sometimes I hold my breath when I only have what I call "near experience" & not 1st hand. I am glad the adjustment learning curve is not something that is rare.

I've never really had a problem...
I carry a G23 in a DeSantis IWB at 4:00, and have just gotten used to it...
I know its there, it does keep its presense known, and other than the occasional "cant" adjustment (if needed) I just leave it alone...
I have (for lack of a tactical advantage) riden with that for over 4 hours driving my truck up to N.E. Texas without taking it out and putting it in a better situation for either use or comfort...
I just hate having to take it off, knowing I'll have to put the sucker back on if I have to stop...
I have also carried recently a full sized 1911 in the same manner, and actually that was more comfortable with a C-TAC OWB in the same position for that long as well...
I know...I know...

Which IWB's are you using?

the cheap uncle mike's felt type materal holsters. i've worn out 3. i have one pocket holster for my revolver, and two iwb holster for it; one for each side. i use one strong side, or the other in the small of my back. i also use one clipped to my vest for uniform work. have one of each for my full-size pistols too, and wear them the same way; strong side, or in the small of my back.
my belt slide is a little 'gun leather' holster that i've had for 11 years. another one is an uncle mike's kydex paddle holster. i just can't see spending all this money on something fancy no one will ever see.

I usually just adjust mine once I'm seated and readjust as I'm getting back up. Then again, I'm using a cheap holster.

I carry a Kimber 3" in a Galco Deep Concealment on my right hip at around 3:30-4:00. I have no problems with it, and in fact, feel wrong without it nowadays. The combination of gun, holster, and location just WORKS.

I can sit comfortably every where but my own car, damn wrap around bucket seats. But I have a non reinforced holster so I just take it out and reholster before I get out the car.
