i meant instead of the acog. Magnified optics aren't great for up close engagements. It can be done but it takes training. The acog is great for medium distance shooting, but not close stuff. Thats why the military uses the minidots on top of them. Aimpoints and eotechs are made to shoot with both eyes open which is good since both of your eyes will be stuck wide open under stress. Ok, strikefire came in. Anyone else have a halo? As in probably 200% larger than the dot on the brightest setting?
