Okay, I read "We're not able to identify..." as meaning they didn't know. Now I see that they could have meant, "we can't let you know who he is."

I know I am paranoid. I can live with that. Something still stinks about this.

I'd be happy to. I'm going to email him again, asking him to send me a link when he gets more info.

I googled "LA Gun Task Force Serves another Search Warrant" And found alot of articles.

I did also, but found no news articles other than the original.

There seems to be a lot of discussion of this particular article in the blogoshpere, but no main stream media (or even off-brand media) with details that can be confirmed.
