This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say that the Glock feels "good" in the hand. To me, it feels like the stub of a 2 x 4 - a highly reliable bullet spitting 2 x 4, but a 2 x 4 nonetheless.

I'm still waiting to hear someone call one of them "pretty."

My pretty little Glock does not actually fit "good" in my hand. It fits purrrrrfectly!

My G30 fits like a glove and I must say it it one of the most practical and functional pistols I have owned...

You know after reading the above it is like I am defending my (hypothetical) not so attractive farm wife, that is very efficient but she's beautiful to me.

However she goes bang everytime with accuracy and consistency.

Practical and functional they are (I have owned several over the years in 9mm. 40, and .45. and still have a couple), and, like your hypothetical farm wife, they do go "bang" every time. However, if I had a glove that fit my hand like a Glock does, I'd get rid of that too.

I'm primarily a 1911 guy, but when I go on a foray (like hog hunting) that requires high cap tupperware, a Springfield XD is my choice.

I don't criticize anyone who chooses a Glock. They're well made and tough as nails. I do wonder what happened to their hands to make those things fit, but I'm too polite to ask.

All kidding aside, my real position is: diff'rnt strokes for diff'rnt folks. You're happy with what you've selected, I'm happy with what I've selected, and it's all good.

I have a thing for the rubber Pachmeyer grips (with no finger grooves).

I prev had an MC Operator, and I loved these grips. I got a set for my Ed Brown... I know - $20 grips on a $2k pistol - but after trying several brands and types, I prefer these....

I used the Pachmayrs on several guns over the years and liked them also. They're thinner than the Hogues and the material is a bit less "sticky" and compressible.

I can be happy with either model, although lately I've been favoring the Hogues.

Can someone post a link to the exact grips you're talking about? Preferably somewhere for sale?

All this talk about them makes me want to try out a set

Which ones? the Hogues or the pachmeyers?
