I will most likely never go to any foreign country again. We have been on 3 cruises out of Galveston and I can take or leave them too. After going to Hawaii nothing else measures up anyway.

Mrs. Anygun wants me to take her to Hawaii.

I would rather take a beating. Please don't tell her that.

Hawaii-icans don't like us mainlanders I hear.

Now, Mrs. Anygun has mentioned Alaskan cruise a time or three. That would be fun.

I would go on an Alaska cruise for a whole lot less than a beating.

Hawaii is AWESOME!!! But getting there is a butt-whippin! There are so many beautiful places that are ALOT closer. But Hawaii is a great place. Going to Puerto Rico, Nassau, St. Thomas and Grand Turk in a bit, cruising, of course.

To keep this back on topic, when cruise ships started up in Galveston a few years ago you could find some KILLER deals, my wife and I took advantage of them and had a BLAST! We did 3 cruises out of Galveston within a year and a half, loved every one of them!

Yep the flight to Hawaii is awful and the trip home is even worse. A vicoden going over and one coming back helped a lot. We've been 4 times and I can't wait to go back. We have been on 3 cruises out of Galveston and I'm just not that crazy about them. I have a little problem with sea sickness though. We do love Key West .

Gotta throw this out there on the Cuban cigars, it's *highly* likely that any "Cuban" cigars bought in a tourist area will be counterfeits. If you really want to buy a Cuban, make sure it's from LCDH (La Casa del Habano). LCDH are the Cuban-owned stores, buying "Cubans" anywhere else in Mexico and the Caribbean is a crapshoot. :tiphat: I am not condoning this, but an unbanded cigar in a ziplock bag is just that, an unbanded cigar, no way to prove it's a Cuban. At least that's what people who have done it tell me. :biggrinjester:
