That dog needs a treat did it's job for shure. My dog gets very mouthy with wierd noises but would only bite if some came after my wife. Dogs are good to have around I'm glad it ended well it's scary when something like that goes on around your home.

I have had the same thing happen in NW San Antonio. I was not yet licensed to carry, but was in my garage, with several potential weapons handy (axe, etc.) I called 911 because I felt threatened on my own property. We have off-duty SAPD officers as a Security Patrol in our neighborhood, and they monitor the SAPD frequencies. Our officer was at my house in 45 seconds, followed by the SAPD patrol car in about 2 minutes. Turns out the guy was a suspect in some burglaries in the area, and they took him in for questioning. I would always err on the side of calling, let the pros sort things out. If the person is just lost, or otherwise innocent, no harm, no foul...
