I plan on voting on Monday, early voting, due to my hip replacement surgery on 11/1/10. Plan on making my point through my vote. Glad and pround we live in a country that we have the freedom, without oppression, to vote! :clapping:

Wife and I voted today during lunch, easy, in and out in 10 minutes or less...

Remind me again why I had to disarm? I don't understand (yes, I know the law but I don't COMPREHEND it :headscratch ).

Voted today at Kyle Chapman Annex and took a friend who can't drive as well. Short line at 1PM. I'm usually at the deer lease on election day.

NO, and I won't!!!

I take voting very seriously.

We just moved and my wife filled out our change of address and I rushed us to get our DL's changed...and all that jazz.

I ask yesterday were is our info to go vote....she starts scrambling around.....looks at me witha file in her hand :oops:

She forgets to mail off the voter registration info!!! :banghead: :mad5 :cryin

Dang it....first time sense I was 18 I don't vote :grumble .

So in order to release frustration I went out back and burned three 30rnd mags through my AR....and shot up and old Pentium II PC we found in storage.

If you take it seriously, you may know what I don't... you should be able to vote in your old precinct if you have your old voter registration cards. Or is that considered voter fraud?

Um... You can't do that. Early voting ends 10/29, so head out before next Friday, unless you want to wait until 11/2.

DON'T GIVE UP!!

If you moved from one part of the county to another (in the same county), you can still vote for all the races in your previous precinct, since that is where you were registered on Oct 4th. Your county may be different, but in mine, any early voting location can handle voters from any precinct.

If you moved from one Texas county to another Texas county, you will not be able to vote in any precinct or county level offices, BUT -- you can vote for the state and national level offices like Governor. This is called a "limited ballot."

If you moved to here from out of state -- I dunno. But DO NOT GIVE UP YET. Go to your local elections office and find out what you can do.

You can read more on this here: http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/pa ... pamp.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have been working at out Elections Office all week as a clerk. We have handled a number of cases like yours. As long as you were registered somewhere in Texas prior to Oct 4th, you can vote at least some of the races.

We have been pretty busy overall with early voting.
