If you really want to get things going, go on the "General Glocking" forum and remind them that Wilhelm Bubits was the one who really designed the Glock for Gaston Glock. Then tell them that Bubits went off to design the M-A1 pistolsfor Steyr, which are a infinitely superior to the Glock, because Gaston Glock was too shortsighted to see all the flaws inherent in "his" pistol. Then sit back and watch the fireworks.
If it starts to die down, throw out the phrases "fully supported chamber", "better ergonomics", and "revolutionary, fast acquisition sights".

How To Be Popular On GlockTalk.com:
1) Pick a random forum EXCEPT the caliber forum
2) Create a new thread titled, "Which caliber is best?". What is put in the actual body of your post is irrelevant. I recommend a photo of puppies playing or newborn kittens looking cute.
3) Consume popcorn as the thread explodes into a vitriolic quagmire of innuendo and outright hatred.
4) Repeat at least once every two weeks.
NOW I know who does that!

Posting anything about Glocks in this forum yields very little value. Although I guess the same can be said about glocktalk.

I'm sure I saw a KahrTalk forum, but it was a new site, and wasn't working right until the 5,000th post, I guess it had to have a break-in period.
(running for cover now

)

I saw an M9Talk forum, but all anyone ever discussed was how the old forum was way better, and they should just go back to that...

But I'm sure there were forum members who swore up and down that the site was a great site anyways.

I saw a 1911 forum, but they used index cards and thumbtacks to post messages on the bulletin board system.

Yeah, and if the cards weren't aligned with a micrometer in exactly the right way, your message would fail to post correctly.

and Randy it seems that with Glocks people either LOVE them or HATE HATE HATE them .. it seems to be at the opposite ends of the spectrum, with very few in the middle.

Yeah funny that is true.
I hate the Stock Glock ergonomics, but I absolutely love the reliability and abuse they can take. That's why I trust them and carry them .... but, I like M9/Taurus PT92/99 and 1911s better as far as ergonomics.
I've owned every Glock model made I think, (except of course the .380; and haven't owned the .357 nor 45GAP yet) I HATE them, but .... my daily
choice for carry ... is a Glock... since the 1980s.
