I recognize many NRA BoD candidates by name. And I admit I sometimes base my vote on that name recognition and on the nominee's bio.

But I know Charles L. Cotton personally.

This guy is the real deal. He has never waivered in his commitment to our Second Amendment rights. Never.

You can see 20% of what he does on this Forum and at TexasFirearmsCoalition.com. Over 80% is below the surface: the work he does but about which he never makes a public display.

For over 30 years Charles Cotton has been a champion of our Second Amendment rights, both at the national and state level.

I may vote for a few of the other NRA BoD candidates.

But if I were given only one vote, it would be Charles L. Cotton.

Do we only get ONE vote? If more than one, is there a way to give you ALL my votes? You deserve them all, Charles. :tiphat:

Thanks for all you have done, are doing and will do for us. :clapping:

When you have an opportunity to vote for, say, 20 people but only know & like a few, you're best off to vote ONLY for the people you actually support, even though you may leave some potential votes uncast. Voting for fewer people maximizes the value of your ballot for the folks you actually vote for.

Right now, unless I learn something really positive about some other candidates, Charles may be the only person I vote for.
