Best Wishes to you, Texasinvestigator. I just changed jobs too and I don't know about you, but it was a stressful endeavor for me.

Good luck TX, I wish you a smooth and fruitful transition. I also would like to know when you get the Advanced Carry class together.

Congrats on doing what you think is best for you - too many folks these days just view their life as static and accept it.

Let us know when you get the Advanced course up and running, I can never get enough training!

For those of you (and me) that are in a decent to pretty good job, but just not one that grabs your heart, I have some suggested reading: 48 Days to the Work You Love by Dan Miller. At the worst, you're out maybe $15. So far, it has only changed my perspective, as I just read it. It's up to me to do the rest.

Well tx...wow, congrats on your decision. Change is difficult but with your background ....this time around as LEO again should be even more meaningful for you. Good luck on remaining hours and know you will ace the test.

I still hope that you will continue the input you've provided me and so many others!! Again Jeff...good luck and keep us posted along the way pal!

Good luck reaching your goal. Looking on the TML classifieds it seems like there is a real shortage of qualified officers. I'm sure you'll get on with a department real soon.

I too have been pursuing the same goal. I am trying to get on with a department that will send me to an academy so I can get my certification that way.

Perhaps our paths will cross one day in that areana.
