I've had a Keltec before and to me I"ll stick with my S12. It's a cool look at this gun. Now if it wasn't a pump I may be interested

Wow what a shotgun!!!!!!!. Best of both worlds. Reliable pump, short but still legal. Holds 15 rounds. Sounds like the perfect self def shotgun. Unless reviews are bad I will def have to get one of these. That RFB is also very interesting. Would be a great HOG gun to truck through the brush with!!!!

I keep tellling myself I have the guns I wanted im good and then I see both of these dang it start saving the mad money again.

This might not make it so tempting for now...this is "double plus ungood"....if you are holding the trigger down while you rack the shotgun, the trigger will NOT reset.

IKD thanks for the input. No disrespect but I have to say that I would never hold a trigger down while cycling the pump action shotgun or any gun for that matter. No trigger grabbing until im ready to fire. To me thats just poor trigger control and not very good gun safety.

I see what you are tying to show as mayby this could be a issue not sure. Again thanks for your update. Are you at the Shot Show?

True, but a scared person defending their home might not remember that one important issue in a stress situation. Also, people that don't have a lot of upper body strength would naturally grip with all fingers tightly while racking the slide with the other hand.

Ha! I wish. If all goes well, I'll be there next year though. Most of my info is coming from Caleb Giddings (we're friends on Facebook -- he's one of the guys in Top Shot season 1) and from The Firearms Blog.

On a related note, I just ordered a box of these and a box of the 2" Centurion mini-shells to see of they will feed in my Escort.
Word is these will not work in the Kel-tec. Much discussion over on AR15.com from Shot Show. A factory rep reportedly advised mini-shell will not feed.

Edited 1/21 for spelling.

Put two tubular mags on a semiauto and marry it to a High Standard Model 10 type design, then you'd have something.
I believe that's called a Saiga 12 :coolgleamA:
Nope if it's semi-auto I think that's called a destructive device, won't pass the "sporting purposes" rule.
Eh? Who told you that?

He may be referencing the fact that it looks like semi auto shotguns like the Saiga are about to become DD by the ATF.

Today, the ATF announced at the 2011 SHOT Show that a new ruling would be issued on Monday, January 24, 2011, regarding the importability of certain shotguns. ATF informed the audience at the ATF Townhall meeting that they wanted to ensure that they were properly and justly enforcing the requirements of a shotgun being for a “sporting purpose.”

This is definitely concerning given the huge demand for certain shotguns like the Saiga platform, which has seen a noticeable increase in demand. While ATF would not comment on which shotguns will be named in this ruling, I would not be surprised to hear that the Saiga is going to be mentioned in the ruling, given the large capacity magazines and feeding devices that are now available.

Banning a shotgun with a long barrel is bad and maybe be defeated in the courts. Who said Saiga-12 is not a perfect semi-auto shotgun for competion? When was hunting birds, ducks and doves with a semi-auto is not sporting activity?

I believe Keltec makes their guns in the US.
If I am correct, then any ruling from ATF on "Sporting purposes" would have no effect on the new KSG even if it were semiauto.
