175 is the lowest acceptable score - 70% of 250 = 175

piro - U-21 (18 y/o or older) can buy and possess a handgun. They are only prohibited from purchasing a handgun from a Licensed FFL Dealer.
Private transactions, gun show purchases and possession by gift are still OK for the U-21 folks...

Now - those same U-21 folks can not buy ammo for any handgun but they can buy it for Rifles and Shotguns...

A person who is under 21 cannot buy a handgun from a licensed dealer. If I understand the law correctly, he can buy one from a private party or posses one that was given to him (a legitimate gift or loan, not a straw purchase).

I know that's the law but ...

One day at Academy I was buying ammo and the manager was training a new cashier. She told him that buyers must be 18 or older to buy ammo. No distinction between handgun and long gun.

I've heard other places simply ask the young buyer if the ammo is for a handgun or rifle, and sell it if the buyer says rifle.

There are, of course, rifles in many common handgun calibers.
