I think it's absolutely insane that in Texas of all places, Bowie knives are illegal.

...that IS absurd...I've laughed at that one for years...and it doesn't talk about longer than 5 1/2", just says Bowie...so I guess a 3" one would be illegal...but a Tanto blade isn't...they really need to rework the laws...or throw them out, where knives are concerned...and deal with behavior, not tools...
