This is a broken system. Probation for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon? He was picked up shortly thereafter for parole violation and let go again. Holy cow, what does he have to do to get incarcerated and taken out of the public mainstream? Clearly he does not belong out amongst the law abiding citizenry. The judge that let this creep go should be held responsible for housing him and watching after him if he/she is so stupid that they let a person with this track record go free. Surely the Anti-crowd can see why we the people have a need to protect ourselves. The evidence is clear that the system of police, courts and places of incarceration no longer serve that purpose.According to public records, Nelson was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in October in Dallas and was sentenced to eight years of probation.
Then, in November, he was sent to a state facility that houses defendants who violate their parole, community or mandatory supervision conditions. He was released less than two weeks ago
