Which explains why so many run off to College Station and come back married to a family member.
What is your point? A husband and a wife are members of a family. If a man runs off to College Station and marries a woman when they come back they're a family.
It was an attempt at humor... (the inbred aggie type of joke)
That would have worked better with someone from UT/TT/TCU. :smilelol5:

A big WHOOP for TAM!!
As for "With all of the autographed photos and such, it may become a valuable collector's piece. Especially, if he runs for president. It will become even more valuable if he wins." I actually wrote a nice letter to Governor Perry and told him my reasons for wanting the signed pictures and LCP items. It was given on my AGGIE Honor, and that means something to those who know. This will be displayed and never put up for sale. It will be passed most likely to my youngest daughter who shares my beliefs. However, (a disclaimer) she is a "cough, cough" a... this hurts, excuse me... a longhorn... her husband too... HOWEVER, she is getting her masters from TEXAS A&M!!! There is hope. And I got them good at Christmas too.... But I digress.

Yes, it may be worth something in the future when the historians re-write history and we all try to remember how it really was. But I remember when these first came out and I waited to see how it played out. I think Governor Perry has signed many of these for others so shear number may not make it that valuable. But knowing you have one because I asked and nothing more is what gave value to me. Others helped to make it all happened and granted it is good PR on his part. But he is approachable and that is the AGGIE way for me.

And for the real truth, we AGGIES can still change a light bulb with only five AGGIES and we get it right. I mean you turn the bulb right.. right? Left? Maybe that is why mine don't work. Geez and I am an electrical engineer too. lefty loosy, righty tighty... Naw that don't work.. Oh well.. Glad I got it. thanks guys!
