I've been trying to talk myself out of buying MORE .22 pistols

A S&W 17 followed me home Saturday. That makes #10

I have run a mosquito as well as the 1911-22 and my opinion is I like the 1911 version better. JMPHO

The Mosquitos seem to get mixed reviews for reliability.
But I sure like that digital camo version.

but owning 2 other sigs with a DA/SA setup figure I would like that one more for practice then a new platform is all  if I got anything besides the mosquito It would be the one you just picked up, I have a Sig problem

Then why not get a 22 conversion kit for that P226 in your signature?

It's on Sig's site for $285. http://www.sigsauer.com/SigStore/ShowPr ... ductid=266

Thanks for the pics, DA. She's a beauty. How's she shooting so far? .22's are notoriously known for their jams and what not. Does the slide lock back on it? They usually don't. I have so many questions, can you just ship me the gun and let me play with it for about 3 years? :)

Cheers.

68,

We've only been to the range with it once for function testing, but it worked without issue on the 70-100 rounds of Federal bulk pack copper plated (old stuff) we used. The slide does lock back on empty mag. Since function testing, we acquired two GSG 1911 magazines which are identical to the SIG mag except for the name on the floorplate, and our youngest daughter plans to use this pistol in a ladies pistol class this Sat. DA or I will post an update after the class.

I worry that I would be shot for letting someone else play with it before it gets a good workout here. I think everyone in the house likes the feel of it.
