Dress pants to pocket carry a glock 26

If you ever wore a suit or tie to work, people assumed you were interviewing for a job somewhere else during lunch or something.

One day my boss was wearing a dark suit and a necktie, which was totally out of character for him. I was going to ask him if he was going to a funeral. Good thing I kept my mouth shut.

Although I have seen some employees in businesses look like they were wearing nighties... and you should have seen what the women wore!

Perhaps I should clarify what I mean by business casual. I wear either pressed dockers with heavy starch or suit quality dry clean only slacks with a tucked in long sleeve polo button down shirt starched or dry cleaned. I wear them with shined shoes.

I think that the tactical pants would not fly. Does anyone know if the "covert pants" are suit quality or look good pressed?

I also need pants that fully accomodate a baby glock without any portion of the butt being visible.

Oh well in the meantime I will stick to my kahr pm 9.

Business casual in my mind is slacks, shined dress shoes, tucked in button up LS shirt. No tie or jacket. I can see a polo shirt maybe.

Khakis and polos w/ boots or similar is more of a weekend casual if you will.

This is just my opinion though.

As has been said it varies by industry and even town/region. Around Austin, business casual for some folks seems to be a camp shirt, cargo shorts, and sandals. For others it's Dockers-style pants, a golf shirt, and brown or black casual leather shoes. This is more the way I dress when showing houses to clients etc.

5.11 pants - other than the noted "covert casual" style - just scream "COP" or "CHL" to me almost as much as a fanny pack. I wear them occassionally if I"m going out to look at property on my own, but rarely when I'm with clients in my car.

I can see where GigAg's description of "business casual" would apply more to Bryan-College Station area (more conservative area of state than Austin), and definitely in the larger, more "professional" cities like Houston and Dallas.

If you need to wear "dress pants" or pressed pants, the Eotac, Woolrich and 5.11 covert or discreet pants probably won't work for you. You can press them but they don't hold the press very long. They really are a style of khakis not dress pants. They work for me where I work but don't sound like they will work for you at your job.

It's a drop leg holster worn UNDER the pants and draw is through a side cargo pocket. But move it up a bit and draw through your normal front trouser pocket? Of course, means cutting hole in all your trouser pockets, but if you carry this way daily ....

Although that is a very interesting drop leg idea, I don't think I could pull it off with pressed dress slacks. It sure is neat though.

Does anyone here on the forum carry a glock 26 or 27 in business casual (pressed slacks or suit quality pants)? If so what type, fit and brand of slacks khakis do you use?
