Thanks for the range pictures--Tomorrow's shooters have to be started today. Thank you and your son for taking the time to include the next generation.

I take my five grand children shooting at least a couple of times a month. I plan on it with two of the grandsons tomorrow. I taught my sons and daughters and they all shot competitively. Mama Bear and I go and encourage their parents to come shoot with us. My older daughter's husband has no interest in firearms, but his two boys are my most ardent shooters. The oldest grandaughter is our best pistol shot, beating out her Papa and her LEO father. The youngest girl is only 3 but she has pink ear protection and cheers her mama and daddy on.

Build for the future--take our youth shooting, hunting and just outdoors.

My son says after that one round of .45ACP, his eyes were WIDE open as he laid down the pistol and said, "WOAH!"

In the 1980s, after I fired 2 rounds out of my brand new Glock 10mm (full power loads) ... I said "Ouch" and sold it

I take my 12 year old daughter (13 next week, ugh) every time I go. She has her "own" Walther P22 and likes to shoot my little Taurus .380 too. I let her shoot my .40 Glock and she has the same reaction as your grandson and the .45. I cannot even get her to shoot anything with .45 ACP at all. No problem though. I'd rather her learn right on the .22 and work her way up when she's comfortable.

Shooting with kids makes it so much more fun.
