Welcome to Texas and the forum. Like many of the others, I've done my time in Kalifornia. While I won't say "never again" (Murphy just loves to play with me when I make absolute statements that include "never"), I sure don't plan on ever moving back to PRK. It and New York are at the very, very bottom of the list of places I would possibly consider moving to if needed for a job. Congratulations on your escape. Breathe free and enjoy your new life in this wonderful state.

Welcome from another East Texan transplant! You found a nice home in this Great State, and in this great forum.
I hope you are taking advantage of, and enjoying, being able to carry a weapon in your vehicle, fully loaded, one in the pipe, within reach, but concealed. I hope you enjoyed the fact that it took about ten minutes from the time you decided to buy it, to the time you got to walk out of the store with it. Also hope you take your CHL class as soon as you can. Not sure you have to establish residency here before you can enjoy the perks, but be sure to take full advantage.
