I'm in the mood to build a new 308 upper so I ordered one of these.

The handguard is on backorder
but the rest should be here later this week.

I have plans to do something like that for a pig gun. Having stripped lowers just lying around is a dangerous situation. Way to easy to get on the web and start buying pieces!

Got the barrel, mount, and gas block in today. VTAC should be here Friday
. Now I just gotta get a rifle length gas tube and I should be set (minus a scope
).
BTW, a 24" .920 diameter barrel is HEAVY!
