Oh my goodness..... well I thank you for the compliment but even an AGGIE has to side with a LONGHORN against a RED RAIDER!!! Who says the Southwest conference is dead!! Thanks and glad you liked. Can't wait for the new grips to come in I hope by next week.

Your gun has me thinking about how I want to refinish my Beretta M9. One of my favorite finished factory guns is the Springfield 1911 that is black with polished flats, but I just can't see that working with the Beretta's lines & angles. The thought of doing the frame or slide in a matte blue has crossed my mind. That would be sorta a civilian camouflage since I often wear bluejeans & like to carry OWB.
And I just ran across this image of an anodized blue M9 BB gun.
Not bad, but not the blue I'm thinking of. More like the blue in the Texas Flag of the CHLforum.com logo at the top left of the page.

First to the legal question of AGGIES and LONGHORNS. Best rivalry and friendship two universities can have. My youngest daughter graduated there and her husband as well. BUT, she is getting her masters from A&M. There are country western songs about a girl and boy from the two and a friend of mine has done the same. And yes we can take the tortilla throwing Raiders...
Thanks RR but pretty? come on now, distinguished would be better wouldn't it? I owe you some art work and now colors to match it for a holster.
For the Beretta, google duracoat and go to the company that makes it. I think about 135 colors there for duracoat. If wanting a full one color then that would be easy. There is a video of how to do it on their site. I am thinking of trying to do my shotgun in urban camo from them. I had my gunsmith do this one because I had not done it before and it was something he was good at doing. Worse case was if I did not like, I could just cover it again in black.

Let me know when you sell it! I've got a micro that I'd love to add the CT to.
Beautiful pistol!

Has anyone used their shake 'n spray kit?

I have a beater car gun and, for 30 bucks, I was thinking it would be fun to refinish it in John Deere green or some such.

I am curious too. I watched the video of the system. basically their same duracoat paint with a self contained pressure can and spray bottle. My question is how good does the sprayer work I think. But I want to try it on a shotgun. Mine was done with a regular sprayer and same paint. The maroon on mine he custom mixed with three colors to get it the way he wanted it. I am curious about the need and use of the reducer and such for down here in the high humidity.

Even people that attended
The University will attempt a match color for leather for friends

that went to the school to the NE (in College Station). I was going to say "it's purtty", but opted not to thinking there are those on the forum that might think that I went to A&M.
Put a little more "Texas" on the way ya say "pretty".

Shoot RR, you can call my new gun Purtty. I think your holsters you make for me are Purtty! Went and did a hundred rounds today to test it out. Shot well but the slide lock is still hanging so I left it with the gunsmith to do some work on it. But it shot accurate and ate ammo with out a problem. I ordered the new VZ grips but I asked for something out of the ordinary, imagine that... so it will take them a week or so to get them made up and out to me. Hopefully I will have them before end of next week. gunsmith said he would have it ready for me on Monday when I come up for IDPA. Got a replacement shell for the MTAC to wear it for IWB. So getting close to having a nice summer carry in 45ACP. And yup I will need a maroon Tex45 with a white outline Pegasus for this little beauty. You knew that was coming anyway didn't you? GRIN

I ordered burgundy dye yesterday, just in case there was a requirement to match A&M colors sometime in the future (like I had any doubt). I had yours confused with the Ultra in 3.5", my nephews both have Micros and they work well for them. Just made a three layer with molded Kydex center pink holster with rhinestones for an IPDA race gun lady in Ark. What a project, six hours of hand stitching......back to work. Not to bust the thread, but some day you'll have to tell me how flying horses, Aggies, and guns go together.
