Reminds of a scene from The Long Kiss Goodnight. Gina Davis suggests to Samuel L. Jackson that he hide his pistol in his pants. He wisely responds, "And shoot my [self]?!" She retorts, "Oh, so now you're a sharpshooter?" Ouch.

If one carries with holster, is to carry with no loaded chamber, and load as the pistol is leveled.

I'm a native Texan by temperament and loyalty.

I just wasn't born here, but got here as soon as I could and I'm doing my best to come up to speed on the lingo.

I thought I was doing pretty well gettin' along too - that is, until Greybeard ratted me out.....

This drives a point home for me: those belt clips that are sold that attach directly to the handgun are bad ju-ju. I'm not saying that the guy was using a device like that, but I imagine it wouldn't be terribly hard to replicate the same type of incident with such a device. Yeouch.

My question, which I'm sure will remain unanswered, is if trying to carry without a holster was the issue or was it that he had his booger hook on the bang switch when he stuffed the gun in his pants?

OUCH!!! What's even worse - it was a pink gun stuffed in his pants.
