Bill, I say "no" you can never have "too many" guns. Instead of a gun safe, clean out that closet under your stairs and covert it into a climate controlled gun "room".

Too many guns? Perish the thought.

The safe can go anywhere. If you don't keep it in the house, be certain to bolt it down to the floor. Protect them from the humidity.

Mrs. Anygun swears that mine are multiplying in the safe when the door is closed.

She knows enough about them to notice an increase in number but she knows too little to notice which ones are new to the fold.

I made it a point long ago to not question at all any purchase she made, whether it be remodeling the kitchen, landscaping the fron yard for the second time, whatever.

The 3.75 carat diamond in the white gold 1.75 carat triple diamond white gold setting after 30 years of wedded bliss helped a lot.

I have the smae type of charitable organization. It too is, at absolutely no cost to you the current owner, will be more than willing to take any and all guns, big or small, off your hands. These guns will be more than taken care of and will at no time be neglected, shamed, or abused, although they will be shot quite a bit guaranteed.

In reality, it was a rhetorical question! I asked that, because I expected to see reflected in y'all my own thoughts. One gun is simply....a good start.

I already employ said tactic, yet in her mind there IS such a thing as too many guns.

She thinks currently that my 1 pistol and 1 rifle are already enough of an inconvenience. Can't wait 'til she sees the growth in my collection over the next 12-18 months(plans include an O/U, AR, a Sig, and a home defense shotgun).

In my defense, I am buying her a house this summer, if all goes well.

too bad you ain't a cop, you'd get a free Glock!!
