based on the above, I have heard a lot of information, but the only one that seems to do movies/videos etc, for my main reason of On-plane use, is the IPAD or IPAD2.
So I guess that is my answer, so now just to get out and buy one!
Thanks all

Just bought an iPad 2 last week and also picked this up:

It's great! I wanted something for when I travel, especially for when I work tradeshows. It's a great presentation tool, I can send follow-up info immediately (right in front of the person, if needed). I was trying to decide between a Mac Air (laptop) and the iPad. When I saw the case that I posted above, well, it was a no-brainer for the iPad. The case works well, even without the keyboard. It helps to protect the iPad and makes it easier to hold/use, etc. Definitely get a CASE of some type for the iPad...it is quite "slippery" without one, meaning that it seems to just want to slip/slide everywhere.

Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile also do this.
Things got a little better with iOS 4 but not every app supports multitasking. One thing that annoyed me was the default browser. I would open several webpages in a different window. When switching between those windows the browser would completely dump the previous page to make room for the page I was currently looking at. This was due to the small amount of ram iPads where given. I think you'll be happy with whatever you choose. Or just find a place with a really good return policy if you want to try different tablets out
