But, I'll be back home in time to see Tony Romo shred the Eagles!
Hey, Russ, how about the Texans shredding the Colts next Sunday! Yeahbaby!

Oh, wait. There must have been something in my coffee this morning. What am I thinking?

First year in three I'll stay in town for Christmas, and the hectic part will be on Sunday with visits to three different homes...and too much food. Christmas Day will be a trip to church and a quiet afternoon at home.

We're heading to Louisiana, but retuning Monday to finish packing to move on the following Friday. My son left for Louisiana today with friends and the wife and were to go on Saturday, but may be changing to Sunday due to a hastily reschedule walk-thru at our new house. This will likey go down as the most stressful Christmas for us. It shouldn't be this way, I know. Somebody cheer me up with a Christmas Carol. ;-)

Merry Christmas

Just going to be my and my mother and father at their house this year.

Got my dad a wooden stock Springfield Armory M1A (aka M-14) the same kind he used in the Marines back in '64.
Mom's getting the complete series of Father Knows Best, her favorite sitcom

Merry Christmas to all of you on TCHLF

Moving from Texas to Louisiana? I wish you the very best.

But, geez, wow. Texas to Louisiana? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Not to be a naysayer, but who would leave the Lone Star State for Louisiana?

We'll have everyone at the house for Christmas eve and morning and the rest of the day.

Now the day AFTER Christmas, the wife and I are hooking up the 5th wheel trailer and heading to Tunica, Mississippi for some gambling and such for 4 nights. I am so ready to hit the road!!

Anyone know of a place to shoot in the Tunica or Memphis, TN area?

I really feel for you. TX to LA? It's like going back in time 20 to 50 years, depending on the exact location.
(I can say that b/c most of my relatives are there.)

We will do Christmas at my Dad's with my side of the family on Saturday, Christmas Eve I will be at work till Christmas morning whenI get to come home and have a quiet morning with my Wife, 2 year old son and the dogs. My son (almost 3) really gets the Christmas and Santa thing this year, so it will be fun. Later Christmas day we will head over to the inlaws for a quiet afternoon and some food.

Steve_D_64,
Those of us "standing watch" appreciate the thoughtfullness and time taken by people like you who drop off the good stuff. Our waistlines do suffer because of it though. So Thank You! I've got the next TWO years Christmas days to look forward to working. So I'm thankful for this one off.

Quiet calm Christmas, w/o any company.........but just after Christmas we set sail on a cruise to Mexico with our five kids, their spouses, and three of our five grandkids.

Our 2nd oldest son has just returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq and will be flying down from Colorado to meet us in Houston. His three brothers and one sister will be driving in from various parts of the state with their families.

I'm thinking this could be fun.............
