Overall wearers might be able to use the "internal pocket" holsters that Concealed Carry Clothiers uses in its vests:

Even if this stuff isn't directly useful, looking at how they do things might provide good ideas.

I'm liking TIN's ethics!
I'm also thinking how "tacticool" I'd look in my bib overalls, and drop leg holster rig, my ammo vest with my AR slung at the ready...
And to top it off with the standard John Deere cap turned backwards to give off the illusion of speed...
Its either this, or I start drinking guys...One or the other...

I grew up in Northeast Texas (Fannin County) and used to wear those blue & white striped bib overalls all the time when I was younger. Everyone in that area called them "Duckins" instead of overalls. I just recently started wearing overalls again, because they are comfortable when you have a big ole belly like mine.
I've been wondering how to carry concealed while wearing them. Good ideas here.

I wear overalls all the time---I have a Desantis Belly Band that I, of course got for my weapon. It now is used for weapon, wallet, car keys, cell phone, and anything else. It works great with overalls and works better than the pockets for small things. You do have to wear it a little lower, and with the weapon portion sort of slid around to the 3 o'clock or 5 o'clock due to the opening.

Great ideas here. I am going to look into that sewn in holster for sure. I am trying to carry my Glock 27. Really want to carry my Springer 1911 but that may be pushing the envelope.

You know, I just had to revisit this subject...
Now follow my thinking...
Lets say you "sew in" a pocket, whether its in the back or front of the bib overalls...
Would you think the "threaded" outline of that pocket would not be somewhat recognizable for its intended purpose???
I just kinda got to thinking about that...
I know, it gave me a headache too...
Going to have to figure this out some more...

Just make it a big patch on the front (with something a little thick, to minimize printing) and sew the outline with the normal outline of the overalls. For the cost of a little extra material, you're golden. Otherwise, just sew a patch onto the front (either a logo or an "actual" patch) and say you did a bad job ;)

Sew it square w a piece of sponge to fill the void around barrel,& trigger guard. That is what I did w. my homemade pocket holster for T85 UL.
The sponge will wash & dry w/ the OAs.

bring up Smart Carry.
Best 50 Bucks I ever spent.
Smart Carry works THE BEST
with my bib overalls.
ALL my carry issues are solved
with this rig.
Bigger puppies need bigger pants
but a Smart Carry, Sig 229, and Bib's
are very comfortable.
