I'm curious how well that "dimpled" grip works with a sweaty hand, compared to the usual fine checkering.

It's called "Chainlink". It is less abrasive to your hand than standard checkering but still provides a very firm grip. It is slightly less aggressive than the "Snakeskin" pattern on Ed Brown Kobra's.

That is a sweetie. Congrats.

If you go to your photo host and change the pic size to a 640x480 or smaller the whole pic will show up.

Nice looking Ed Brown you have there. I have the chainlink on my new Fusion and really do like it. Did not see pictures over on the 1911 forum of your gun, does Brown not post like Fusion? Congrats on the new 1911.

I forgot to mention you would probably have to recopy and repaste the new img link into the original pic place. Unless maybe it is my browser. Still looks like the right half is cut off.

No matter what I am jealous. That is as purdy as they come. Almost don't want to see it fired. But I never bought a hammer I didn't sink some nails with. Good shooting.

Must be my Google Chrome. Did the clear and it still wants to cut it off. Oh well I'll figure this out.

I had the opportunity to shoot a Special Forces a while back and fell in love. It is now on "the list". :thumbs2:
