I have a YHM I got for 5.56 sitting over at The Arms Room in League City now. Sent the paperwork in in December. How much was the AAC? The YHM was $625 with tax. Plus $75 for additional adapters.

My advice, find a NFA friendly lawyer, have him draft up a trust. Money shouldn't be an issue if you are getting into the NFA toy game, so pay out the money and get it done right the first time. If Collectors is using a lawyer for their trust, That is legal. But if it is just some gunshop goomba printing out a trust with Quicken Willmaker, they can get into hot water because they are practicing law without a license. From my own experience it is better to use an NFA trust lawyer, they will save you time and your trust will be done right, and you won't have your trust kicked back by the ATF and then have to wait another 60 days on top of the regular 90 days to get your item.

I have seen some form 4's in other states taking only 30 days, but 4-6 months seems to be the norm. I think it all depends on the workloads of the ATF in those states.

In 2009 it took 90 days. In 2010 it took 90 days plus after my trust(gun shop trust) had been deemed invalid, I had to resubmit and it took another 60 days, In 2012, I heard it takes a good six monthes of waiting. No different than my Texas CHL after Hurricane Ike.

well i got my trust done and bought my supressor back on jan 2. the wait is on.
