That was kinda my semi-serious comment about a bow chaser.

Those guns seem to be mounted very close to the gunwale. From the photos, it doesn't look like they could be brought to bear on a target directly in front of the bow without the guns' stocks sticking well over the toe-rail.

If they have to give chase, what do they shoot with? Maybe the rifles have quick-release mounts. But it still seems like a bow chaser would be a good idea...unless political correctness killed the idea in committee.

No need. A few good drug busts will take care of it, the same way little border towns of 500 people have fancy mobile command centers.

Cite them? Are you going to be the one to walk up and give someone a hard time when he's towing a boat with twin machine gun mounts? :smilelol5: Not me, that's for sure!

Well, lets just hope that they use the thing. I'd hate to see this boat on the other side of the river with fuzzy dice hanging from the guns.

Perhaps they'll fasten to waterski-board mounts ... that could be fun ...

The vessel appears to have at least 2 firing positions, each with 2 machine guns.

Can someone ID the models of those MG's? Caliber?

Do we know anything about Texas DPS' "rules of engagement"?

900 Horses of outboard should be able to get that boat up close and personal to anything on the water. :-)
