Better news than we were expecting!

Bryan had his surgery this morning the tissue collected (after biopsy) turned out to be dead brain matter (atrophied), the apparent result of several small strokes...according to the surgeon. The surgery itself ended up being less invasive than they anticipated.... so his recovery (from the surgery) should be fairly quick.

The doctors will be discussing his prognosis with him in a couple of days. They want to watch him for awhile and do some more testing...but at this juncture "the worst case scenario" was not realized.

Glad to hear was better than expected. Continued prayers for a fast and full recovery from here also Flint.

My Sister just contacted me and said additional testing positively confirms NO cancerous tissues from biopsy!


YES......!

Recovery is expected to be without issue. They will do other MRI's in a couple of months as follow up, but for now looks like a series of small strokes were the cause (something they can manage).
