That's what we did. Didn't want to know. And I would have been ecstatic to have a baby girl, but I can tell you that when my son was born and I went out and said these words to my mother in law: "I have a
son!" it was the high point of my life.

Back in the old days, we took what we got. All we wanted was a healthy baby. After that, nature would take its course.

congrats on upcoming birthdays!!!
Being surprised is the way to go.
Take lots and LOTS of pictures, they grow up WAY to fast.

The most scared I've ever been, ever, was the day we came home from the hospital and the door closed behind us... For the first two days it was just the three of us... It took about a week to get to "reasonably confident". Thank God for mother-in-laws.!
