A-R's mentioning the PPS is timely as I have been thinking about buying one of those. I have not found one in any of the LGS but maybe I just need to drive down to Austin or up to Dallas. A-R what do you think of the Quicksafe™ Safety and the optional backstraps? Some grips just never feel right in my paws so being able to adjust backstraps is intriguing. The LC9 is quite comfortable for me too.

I personally carry the Kahr CW9 for my EDC and my wife has been looking for a slim gun to carry on her body. She likes the Kahr ok but really likes the feel of the Ruger. She says the Kel Tec "isn't pretty enough"

I'd like to talk her our of the LC9 because I don't think she'll handle the long trigger pull that well. The Taurus 709 slim is actually closer to her XD40sc as far as the trigger goes and she'll probably decrease her learning curve with it.
Also, we have recently fondled the Beretta Nano and the only flaw I see with it (prior to actually shooting it) is the 6+1 capacity.

I think the PPS is just enough larger than the rest to be out of the category. I think it would be a "very-small 9mm" rather than a "ultra-small 9mm". IMHO ...

A good point. Other two are just slightly more pOcketable, if that's your intent (though neither is in same category as Kahr PM/CM). But for belt carry, other than slight weight difference I doubt you'd notice much difference between PPS and LC9/709

I use large blackstrap after trying both. On double stack guns I use no blackstrap (smallest setting) on Gen 4 Glock, medium on S&W M&P9, and small on S&W M&P45
Is quick safe the blackstrap disconnect safety? I don't like that as an idea (one more "feature" to break at worst possible moment), but have not had an actual problem with it.
