been checking it twice a day since it went to manufacturing and still no progress! ugh! the last part is the worst!
on a more positive note, my lady friend picked her carry piece finally. we probably went through 4-500 rounds over two days at the range testing out several different models and she ending up picking the new Beretta Nano. Nice little weapon, fit her hand well and it shot great IMO. Picked it up last night at Cabellas, got a decent deal on it too. I picked up a small toy of my own too, nothing too fancy, just a S&W AR15 T :) woot!

Mine just changed to manufacturing on 2/17, and is stuck there as well. I was hoping that their previous printer issues had been resolved, but judging from your status, I'm not going to get my hopes up.
What gets me, though, is that you go to the DMV and their printer spits a DL out in a matter of minutes (after waiting the mandatory two-hour minimum to get to the counter, that is). The DPS printer can't be
that much different, can it? I would think that it's very close (if not identical) to the DMV machines, which makes me wonder if it's a printer problem or something else like a backorder of blank plastic.
Pure speculation, of course, and I'm not about to call and harrass them about it, but some of it doesn't make much sense to me. Then again, it's a government office, so it's not supposed to, right?

With the shut downs of postal facilities (two in East Texas alone), your license may find its way to a shut down facility, lost for eternity among the cobwebs. So sad for you.
