I mean they're nice, but I'd says there are definitely more expensive, hand fit, one off customs. Rogers Precision for one.

One example:

Why would someone take a course and not have any range time on their gun to know if works before taking the course?

It's not uncommon. I have 2-3 every class with a new gun they have never fired much less cleaned and lubed.

This lady said she also had an STI in .45acp but decided the new 9mm she got would be easier to shoot. She and her husband claimed to have shot it before, but it sure didn't look like it.

Like I said in my first post, her husband showed up with an unfired HighPoint.

I don't know why people do that either. :headscratch
Carry safe and carry when and where you can. I'm just sayin'.

There were people in the chl instructors class in austin with new guns they had never shot.

Every maker can let a lemon through. I've gotten two. How upsetstupid i getthink depends on how theystupid handle it after aa call tothe the factory.

I tend to avoid recently released guns since it seems a lot of makers are rushing products out before they are 100%. I also won't rely on a firearm or accessory until i've run 200 rounds of whatever ammo I intend to use in it.

:iagree:
The gun sitting on my hip right now didn't get carried until I had 400 flawless rounds range ammo and 100 rounds of my carry ammo through it.
