I have stuck my card into/behind 30.06 signs in a couple of cases when a person wouldn't accept it from me.

I would be happy to share my version, but all it is is pretty much what Nitrogen posted, or what the standard card says, with colors highlighting and a little personalization.

Are you insinuating that placing an easily removable piece of paper on a door or window in similar fashion to a "Lost dog" sign, is somehow equivalent to graffiti vandalism?

It was suggested that large mailing labels be attached to the 30.06 signs. The mailing labels I'm familiar with would be a pain in the buttocks to remove. Therefore it would be a sort of vandalism.

Some businesses allow lost dog or for sale posters posted on their property with permission. Posting even these types of signs without the owners permission would seem to me be a violation of their private property rights.

I maintain that it is my right to wear a baseball hat. When I enter anyones private property they have a right to ask me to remove it when I enter their building.

I carried some of the color 'unarmed victim zone' posters with me for awhile.

I never found a place to use them and they eventually got soiled and thrown away.

But to have one and the right occasion to use it would be priceless.

Seriously, it sounds like a fun thing to do but what if we end up tipping off criminals who weren't aware of the 30.06 signs? I'd hate to hear of an armed robbery the day after I leave one of these stickers on there.

Maybe we could go with a layman's interpretation of the sign. Something like,

"This sign means law abiding citizens who have passed bla bla checks are not allowed to have self-defense handguns on these premises. That leaves police officers and criminals. Can you tell who is who?"
