That car jacking went good for the owner.
I agree. The only way a carjacking can go bad is if the occupants wind up hurt or dead. Any outcome where the armed perp received injury or death, is completely acceptable.

Absolutely!

That video is classic. I love how they refer to the armed carjacker as a 'child' ... possibly a child of Satan ...

Sounds like the LEO did right, saved his own life, and got a dangerous carjacker off the street.

At what point is enough? Your house? Your daughter? Your wife? That's silly logic. Even a 15 year old should be held accountable for his actions!

Oh! not at all, just adding to your point. I am just blown away by the thought process of that woman.

They always leave out the good details.

What model pistol? Night Sights?
What type of ammo and bullet were used?
Was a reload performed? Tac? Slide lock?
Did the deputy suffer any hearing loss from the shooting?
Did the perps friend learn anything about jacking cars?

I think the city should sue the parents for poor upbringing and the family should buy the deputy a new car. This one smells like fresh gunpowder.

If I violated the 10yr old daughter rule in any way, please let me know. I've no tolerance for ignorance today. Well, not yesterday either. Heck, I can't recall having much tolerance at all, now that I think about it. :???:
