Martha's father

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Here's a quick update. Martha's Dad has a 20 history of heart problems, including two heart attacks and bypass surgery. His doctor strongly recommended a permanent defibulator (a/k/a defibrillator) and it was implanted this morning. He is doing fine, but his doctor wants to keep him over night just as a precaution. I presume they may do some tweaking of the defibulator as well.

Martha and I really appreciate all the prayers.

Thanks for the update, Charles. I'm glad it all went well.

I visited my father-in-law on this evening and he's doing fine. Unless problems develop tonight, he'll be coming home tomorrow morning. Of course, the weather could change those plans.

Thanks for all of the prayers.

I'm sure they covered this at the hospital, but, no MRI's for him.
AICD's (internal defibs) can be safe, but you gotta go through a lot of stuff to make it so.

my mom got a Pacer put in 'bout a year ago, the recovery time for those is a LOT less these days, but make sure he takes it easy for a month, at least.
good health to ya.
