For 130.00 per year they will give you a Que Card
with a PrePaid Lawyer to back it up
That's interesting...anyone know more about this? Have it or have used it maybe? It seems too good to be true and we know what that means.
They have big banners at Texas Handgun Academy and are recommended by some there, but I have no idea what they are getting for the ad space & such.
It sounds like it works like an insurance policy, which in a way it is.
I've been driving for 20 years and never filed a claim (nor had one filed against me). I would hope I would never need to use these folks either, but you never know. For someone without a lot of money, would you (not YOU you) already have a lawyer ready to go if things down downhill?

I signed up for TX Law Shield the other day in my class. They provide a card that you can provide to the officer(s) who arrive on scene. The suggestion I received was that immediately after contacting 911 you contact them and inform them that you have been involved in an incident and they get to work.
I totally support the Law Enforcement community and have family members that have been LEOs their whole lives, but this still rings true:

ETA I busted the links?

I use them. The thing to remember with these programs is that they only cover the cost of their firms lawyer. Any outside lawyer, experts, cost of travel, lodging, and so on, will be added expense. Still, it is a nice feeling to know I have a number to call if I need it.

Ayoob's list of 5 things to do fits on a business card. I don't agree with him 100% but if you need a cheat sheet maybe his list isn't a bad place to start.
