I emailed them and they gave me the standard 60 days. My 60 days is up on Monday, I will be calling them on Tuesday morning.

How long has your wife been waiting.

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't see others that had mailed their packet after I went into BR and have already received their plastic. I have been in BR for 6 weeks and most only stay in there for 2 weeks.

I just tried to call and was on hold for 10 minutes. May try to call first thing in morning and see if I can get a different response.

She has been waiting the same amount of time I have. Hers still has red stuff on it even though she sent the corrections to them. She called and they said they got the stuff but they just haven't updated it yet. Still in background check too. She is active duty military you would think that since she works for coast guard and its a part of homeland security they wouldn't have to check in more than one place to learn every little thing about her. Its not like she just joined up with them either she has been in since 95.

Still stalking the mailman. Nothing yet but it has only been two days that the mail has run.

Anyone wanna place bets on whether or not mine comes before Friday. Mailed on the 24th. I figure it won't make it here in time. We move this week they are currently packing our things. Gggrrr. Worst part is I sent them all the new stuff while I was still processing. They lost it though. Figures.

I would be willing to bet that your license didn't even get postmarked until yesterday (if your lucky). From the way I have seen others go, it goes to mail room but takes a couple more days to actually get out in the mail and with it having been a holiday weekend.............

Well if it was mailed yesterday then it has a fighting chance of making it here by Friday. I am not holding my breathe though. You would think Austin to Houston regular mail would be about 2-3 days. I will just have to wait and see. I hate that. Lol

nothing still. Matter of fact I haven't received any mail since before the holiday. Strange. I hope tomorrow my mail box is overflowing with stuff including the chl. But this has been a pot too closely watched and you know what they say about that lol.

I called them today actually. Proof to my lack of patients. But they said everything was normal and that the mail service has just been light after the holiday. Does that mean people haven't finished coming out of their sunburned hungover stooper to mail anything out yet lol. I have been fighting a cold so i guess I wouldn't be running to the mailbox much if i weren't waiting for my plastic.

As for my wife's chl I don't think she will get it for at least another month cause they lost her paperwork. Well some of it. With moving it will be hard to get the info to them for at least another week. What a mess.
