Who me? I was ex-military several years ago. So, I'm a new shooter just trying to help other new shooters. I see the same questions over and over that I asked when I first was interested in purchasing a handgun. So, all of you read here was advice that I was given by the veterans of this and other groups. Some of it was given directly to me and some to others and I just put it into one big post. Am I an expert? Not that you would think. I want to know these things about anyone trying to teach anything to anyone. Establishing your experience and background helps to connect the teacher to the audience.
Am I the end all be all of advice and wisdom? Nope, nor do I pretend to be. I'm just trying to share what was given to me so freely. To me, what I wrote is just the beginning of the basics of newbie gun ownership. All of you who have owned guns for a long time, who shoot a lot, who are ex-military certainly more recently than my experience, all of you have taught me well and continue to teach me things every day. I just wanna share that.
