Hey, just wanted to give you aheads up on the whole wear/tear thing.
The wear and tear doesn't really come from the material of the holster so much as the dirt
on the material of the holster.
So long as you keep the inside of your holsters fairly clean (wipe down with a damn rag, use compressed air, etc) the wear on your gun will be much, much less than if it was a dirty holster. Dirt acts like sandpaper when slipping a gun into a dirtyish holster.

After 5 years of daily carry my XD definitely has some wear marks from the holster. But that is 5 years of daily in and out of the holster, along with 1000s of additional draws performed during training and practice. I think a velvet cloth would wear on the finish after that much work.
I've toyed with a few other holsters, but never used anything else with any regularity, so I can't compare it to any other carry options. I think the wear marks are pretty light considering the amount of use.

Thanks for the response. I think I am going to try a Remora first to see if I even like iwb carry. If that works then look at some of the others unless the Remora is just the cat's meow. Thanks again.

Oh, the Remora holsters are definitely the Cat's Meow.

Mine took a while. IMO it was well worth it. I have one for my Glock's and SW MP 40. I prefer 3 to 4 oclock IWB
