I had completely forgotten that they were even voting on it. I wonder what the chances of them gaining statehood are? Adding a new state sure would be interesting... I wonder how much campaigning the 2016 presidential candidates would feel like they'd need to do there "to show our newest citizens how important they are"

What would it take to make California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois into territories?
